Shaft bottoms are left unpainted, with exposed raw carbon, to reduce the amount of chemicals used in production.

KV poles are measured from the tip of the basket or roller ski ferrule to the very top of the handle (i.e. overall length). The distance between the top of the handle and the point where the strap enters the handle is 4.5 cm
